PUBLIC POLICIES FOR SPORT AND LEISURE IN BRAZIL: AN ARGUMENT ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF INITIAL USE OF THE THEORY OF FIELDS OF PIERRE BOURDIEU

Abstract


In this article we present a possibility of reading of public policy for sport and leisure in Brazil, supported in the theoretical and methodological field of reflexive sociology of Pierre Bourdieu. More specifically, the referrals will be made by way of appropriation of some concepts and notions Bourdieusian operative analysis, which are: field, habitus and capital. Thus, the discussion is developed in order to demonstrate the importance of basing a research agenda for the joint area that includes both relationally and the philosophy of social structure and the philosophy of the experiences first of the agents.
